OUR STORY
Foundation For Good was founded by Fraser Neill, David Neill and Robert Snaith on 23rd February 2021. Since, we have more Trustee members including Rory Whaling, Egnes Manyena, Amanda French, Tracy McCann and Richard Eyers.

Firstly, we formed as non-incorporated not-for-profit Amateur Boxing Club in 2018. Our positive work with many people in the local area, helped us to form strong connections and to become deeply rooted within the community. We certain we could offer more than just being an Amateur Boxing Club, subsequently resulting in our charity registration.

In 2018, we slowly began gaining a lot of members. We had over 40 people attending each of the Boxing classes we hosted. We changed between venues for over a year, whilst working against the grain and self funding all of our activities at the financial detriment to our founder. In 2019, we continued our exponential growth, registering many new coaches within our Boxing club and exploring the boxing network within the North East. Towards the end of 2019, we found an old dilapidated building in the heart of Consett. Within the building, we were able to expand our services and build upon our foundation. We undertook a huge journey in making the building occupiable and have worked very hard to achieve its current developments, whilst providing crucial services to people within our community.
Together, we are stronger.
Foundation For Good understands that more cohesive communities foster better health outcomes. We look to bring the community together, we offer a wide range of activities to boost local people in our communities by breaking down barriers which stop people from progressing in life.
